I will ensure consistency in all mechanical matter—spelling, capitalization, punctuation, opened vs closed vs hyphenated words. I will also check consistency in chapter headings, manuscript formatting, and pagination.
Verify and revise—or suggest revising—facts that are incorrect. I will correct any POV shifts. I will also reword or suggest rewriting any context or flow issues.
Correct all indisputable errors in grammar, syntax, usage, and verb tense shifts. Rewrite or suggest rewording of passive, wordy, or confusing sentences. I will also ask for clarification of terms likely to be new to readers.
I will check character development, pacing, structure, theme, story arcs, and overall effectiveness of your story. Manuscript Critique Included.
Line edit: I will go over each sentence to make sure it is ready for publication. Each line will be checked for flow, pacing, consistency, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and word usage. I will also assist with rewriting/rewording sections that need help. Manuscript Critique Included.
Proofread: Choose a proofread when all you need is that second set of eyes. Spelling, grammar, punctuation only!
$200.00 FLAT FEE: For a manuscript critique or a big picture edit. I will provide an overall critique of your manuscript...a big picture edit. This is a short overview with my big picture thoughts on your story, so if you only want to know what's working or isn't working, then this is a good place to start. I'll read your manuscript and discuss major plot points, characters, overarching story, and flow (pacing). I'll give you the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Blurb—$30.00 FLAT FEE: No more than 200-word cover or website blurb review/edit.
Synopsis—$40.00 FLAT FEE: Five page maximum synopsis review and edit.

Note on payments
I base my fee on word counts when I initially receive your manuscript. I ask for a fifty percent, nonrefundable deposit at the time of contract signing and before I start your project. Any remaining balance is due when the manuscript is finished and before it's returned to you.
For projects less than $200, full payment is required upfront.
PayPal, Venmo, and (cleared) personal checks are accepted. If paying by PayPal, all fees are the responsibility of the client and will be added to the invoice
